Wiring help please!

Hi all I'm looking for a pin out fir the two big (black, white) electrical plugs in the rear trunk. One goes to dme unit, other to car.

Thanks. Matt

(Insert evil laughter)

I was going to help you after your first post.

Now, not.

Of come on, it's a project car.
And I got it in trade for a mtb.

Pretty sure my Bentley manual has these, or maybe just the TS guides. I'll look shortly.

For the record, however, I do object.

Well the engine grenaded and the guy was going scrap it, and I don't have 15k for a pos engine.

and he traded it to me for a bike! lmao I couldn't sell that bike on C-list for 1K.

Better my loved Frankenstein then parted and crushed...

And have you ever traced a line from those oem wiring diagrams?
Not easy.
So any help would be nice... Thanks!

!

Right on, man. It may not be everyone's particular cup of tea, but I know a fella who has made a living out of Chevy 350 conversions for Jaguars. He doesn't get a lot of love from purists, but guys driving converted cars have nothing but mad respect for him.

Bottom line: put a motor in and drive the wheels off. Because why not!?

Spend $30 and buy the electronic version of the shop manual.

You'll need all of this anyway to complete your project. :)

Thanks for the link.
That's part one for sure.
I have the online wiring diagrams, but they wrap page to page and I need an education in reading them. Lol. Ive done this to a few vanagons as well but the p wiring is slowed me down.

I was hoping someone had a pin out for the two main plugs at the dme (ecu, ECM what ever).

Again thanks. M

I posted the DME pinout on the other thread. Somehow I never noticed your thread until I searched for it. Here it is for the '98:
