Drivers window

Hi everyone

My drivers side window started acting up... When it happened first it seemed like the window was trying to close and Makes sounds like a grating/ crunching as if something has got disconnected. I ended up pulling window up by hand and leaving it there.

When I use switch now I can hear motor but there is no action.

First thought was to dig in and take panel off and get a look. Is there a good link to guide to get it right?

Thanks

Mine did that on the passenger side. Replaced the operator. I got one online at 1A Auto. It was the best price. OEM is crazy price.

I literally just finished replacing my passenger side window regulator the other night for the second time. I made the mistake of throwing in a used window regulator the first time. Very simple and takes no longer than an hour.

here's a nice write-up from Pelican

Thank you for sharing this! I have been trying to figure out how to remove the airbag so I can move forward with replacing my window regulator and this article gave me all I needed to know!
