Cool. Thanks for sharing. I have Plexus from use on motorcycle. Need the right brush for the fabric though.

I hose off my top when I wash my car. Let it dry. Spray 303 Aerospace Protectant on it. That's it....and it still looks brand new being the original 15 year old top!
|
Where ?
Where do do purchase the 303 Aerospace spray ?

Up here I get it at 'Northern Performance' in Burlington, ON... I'm sure many RV or truck accessories stores carry it as their products come highly recommended for Boats, RV's, Truck covers etc. Heiko |
I bought my supply of 303 on Amazon.

What brush do you use and where do I buy?
|
I ujse a horse hair brush that I bought on amazon. If you search for ragg top cleaner it comes up as a related product. I switched from the ragg top protectant to the 303 fabric guard.
Cottonwood is awful this year. Every day my roof ends up looking a lot like my chin used to when I first tried to grow a beard as a teenager. I've been using a lint roller in between washes. In a minute or two it looks as good as new. |
I thought the top needed to breath? Is that an old myth? I have cleaned my top, but never applied any repellent to it.
Even during our 17+ inch month of rain here in Austin my top did just fine. I guess it just got a good washing? |

there is a car care products company in Stuart, FL that sells a whole kit of cleaner, brush and conditioner for a decent price. They are a mcquires dealer so they should be easy to find.
|
Yawn...looks like a lot of work. RaggTop does fine in a fraction of the time and effort.
