Does anyone recognize this rubber block? I found it in the rear trunk after the car received a new clutch, water pump, and IMS bearing. (Additional images available).
Doesn't look familiar to me, and I just had the entire drivetrain out (and. water pump). No 986 or 996 part number? Could just be a jack/jackstand pad.
Your biggest clue is the work done before you found it. It's probably off something they used to support the engine while the transmission was out.
