HUDs - what has worked good in the Boxster

I'm looking to install one of the HeDs Up Displays ( HUD ) in the Boxster. Looks like there is a choice between OBD connections and non-OBD; as well as screen size. Most seem to range in price between $50 and $90

What have you used or seen in use that makes good sense ?

I looked for some awhile ago and didn't find anything worth while. What have you found? I know I should have ever sold my Defi HUD years back.

HUD Search to date...

There are a lot of HUDs available from eBay and Amazon. Seems like there are two main groups; 1. Stand alone GPS units that present your speed, some have an alarm function as well. These all plug into the lighter socket
2. OBDII sensors that can provide a variety of functions. Within this
Group there are 51/2 and 6" displays
Most are priced under $100

I saw one of the GPS units in a 914, the image was good and for $50 it looked good
