Anyone got lights from Cargym.com ?.

Hi, has anyone bought replacement lights from cargym.com? They are $995 for a pair of LEDs and look good quality. But due to the price wanted to get any feedback first.

Thanks.

If it is these then there are several threads about them on here:

Porsche Boxster 986 1999-2004 LED Projector Black Base Headlight CarGym.com

The general consensus is not that good. Leaky, the leds burn out and are not serviceable, etc. I have seen a pair in person and they did look good though.

Better options are:

OEM Litronics

Fred's HID projector retrofit, soon to be available from Pelican Parts.

had them on my 986. they worked well, but I did not like the white daytime running light look. I cut the leads to the white LEDs on the bottom and they looked a lot better. the yellow LEDs function as the turn signals and were left connected. the illumination was much better than the standard halogens, so I would say they improved my night driving. not 100% sure I would purchase them again, but my friend who purchased my 986 loves them.
