Looks like you had a great day and thanks for the facebook link. Couldn't help but notice the absense of front license plates on many of the cars...RCMP letting that go these days?

i lived in ucluelet for a couple of years and bought my Porsche specifically for the hwy from alberni to ucluelet. ps, the other good run is from lake cowichan over to port Renfrew and down to Victoria. do it in a day and you can travel from the empress to the blackrock (and back for a good weekend trip). the key is to hit the pass over to ucluelet at around 6 pm - all the rvs are pulled over eating dinner.
