Strange Rattle

About a week ago I started hearing a rattle in the rear, behind the driver’s seat, so I got under the Jӓgermobile to investigate. Here is what I found:

The strap that holds the Parking Brake Cable broke and the cable was bouncing on the Trail Arm. The strap is riveted to the vehicle so I tie-wrapped the cable until I come-up with a final solution.

Wow, how long did it take you to find that. I think I would have missed it.

Not long because the noise had a similar sound as a bad Trail Arm (Control Arm), clunking right behind the driver's seat. I thought how could those arms be bad already, I replaced them a year ago??

Good ears! Do you have new trailing arms in your car? I've been pretty irritated by the loud clunking sound every time I drive on uneven road. Do new trailing arms make the ride more comfortable?

I replaced them about a year ago. No noticeable improvement of the ride but the clunking noise will go away.
