So after five days the battery shuts down to save energy.

Now on the forum, people have said when you return to your car after these 5 days.
put the key in the door, unlock it, now you have 10 seconds to get the key in the ignition.

But in the drivers manual, it says put the key in the door unlock it and press the remote. and it should wake the battery up. and things will be normal.

My question is which is right.
