Car pet pic

Hi all,

I had off-the shelf carpets that were supposed to be 996/986 specific but didn't fit well.

Tomorrow, I'm getting custom carpets cut by an upholsterer and was wondering how the original ones fit around the gas pedal. Please post pictures of the area around the gas pedal and below the dead pedal.

No, I'm not checking whether you've vacuumed.

Thanks!

Here you go. These are the original OEM mats that came with the car new in 2001.

Love to see the seat belt on your pup. Ever since seeing a dog jump out the window of a moving car, I'll never understand why all owners don't belt in their pet.

Skip the custom cut mats and order a set of cocomats. Lots of different styles to compliment your interior and they are incredibly durable.

Champ blood line, Rottweiler. Flew twice to Austria... once to get him, import mate. Sum up all of that and the pup cost more than your and my 986 combined lol You bet I'll belt him up

Thor is 65 killos now. Not a car_pet anymore... he got his own truck :/ Got a pair of rotty actually. took his little brother JJ also. Hobby!

I knew that topic would stir more interest than if I hadn't misspelled it.

Anyway, got the carpet today and am not 100% pleased with it. It's really high quality pile, but not cut exactly right. It does look better in person than in the pic.

Fit looks good.

Enjoy while you can b/c too many lawyers make new Porsches come w/ only 1/2 of a mat on driver side... at least in the little woman's Macan:

Probably won't be long on the rest of the lineup too

Ugh.. With a mat like that the beautiful carpet is going to get filthy real fast. My wife loves light colored interiors and the first thing I is get her dark colored mats.

I do have 2 rescue greyhounds. In general they are pretty good dogs, but tend to be a little nurotic.

The statue was s gift for my daughter, just seemed like the best way to get it home :-)
