Tiptronic shudders from a start

Lovin' my first year of ownership. I've put 5k miles on it, currently at 98k. But over the past half year this behavior has worsened:

When in automatic mode, accelerating normally or aggressively from a stop, the car shudders. (The automatic chooses second gear for this.)

When accelerating *gently* (when the light turns green and I'm fifth in line), there's no shudder.

In manual mode, starting in *first* gear, gently or aggressively, there's no shudder.

Should I be concerned?
