New sway bar bushings?
I'm replacing the sway bar bushings. They clamp on underneath. Do these get greased? The last thing I want is rubber bushings squeaking when dry. I cleaned the sway bar very well. New drop links as well.

No. If you research the function of the bushings, you will see that they twist. When they get hard is when they quit twisting and squeek

I did the same upgrade a month ago: bushings and drop links.
No grease needed. Direct swap. |
Some types of materials do require a lubricant. PowerFlex brand bushings that I have used in the past came with a small packet of lubricant for one time installation. You may want to check with the manufacturer of whatever bushing you are using.
