Floor Mats
Reference floor maps for 896s and 987-1 series Boxsters,
1. Is there a difference in the interior footwells? 2. The reason I ask is that Suncoast has a great sale on floor mat sets some are $20 and others are $30. Unfortunately they are for 2005 -2012 Boxsters. 3. So will they fit my 1999 Boxster? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. MNC-I |
will not fit well

I have a set of 986 floormats, genuine Porsche, black in good condition. $30??
PM if interested. |
Removing the floor mats is the first thing I did when I started driving the Box.
Just gets in the way of hard shifting/braking/gas. I don't like semi loose things underfoot. Just buy a pair when you go to sell the car and do without in the mean time. I wonder how others feel about Boxster floor mats? |
Purchased a set of weather tech winter mats and had them trimmed to fit.
Have a set of lambswool mats from my 89 jag vanden plaus I use the passenger Side one for the summer months. My regular passengers usually take their shoes Off before getting in. It's way to big for the footwell but the feel of the lambswool is Total luxury. It's hard to describe , the nap is about a inch thick. |
Reference the floor mats,
Thanks for the feedback. I guess I will not go with the 2005-2012 mats on sale from Suncoast. MNC-I |
