New 986S owner Questions
 

OK, I am a new Boxster owner and maybe a little parnoid still

1) At idle I can hear a tick...tick...tick from the motor, its not very loud and I can hear it best by the drivers side intake behind the door. Normal?

2) My passanger side door seems to creak/rattle over some bumps, it's driving me nuts and I cant really see an issue, car has had no body/paint work or anything.

What you're likely hearing is your exhaust or catalytic (sp?) converter heating or cooling. Same thing as when you shut it down and hear it "ticking" as it cools. My advice? Don't idle - just GO MAN!

Don't know. Hope that helps....

1. Normal.

2. Normal but adjustment at dealer will usually handle this. It will come back later but another adjustment, etc. etc.
