Any cool painted Manifolds?

Curious to see some. Anybody here do the mod?

I though about it. I was also thinking of a way to put this on the intake system and look good.

the factory manifolds and exhaust are stainless. get a disc, some wet and dry and polish it !

Could be wrong, but it sounds like madmodz is talking intake, not exhaust.
Arctic silver intake runners, anyone?

look on planet 9 - the cayman forum - those guys do it because one of the accessories they have access to is a clear engine cover. not so popular given the roof covers things most of the time.

If I had a Cayman, this would be one of my first mods with the clear engine cover....

I bought a clear cover for my then 07 CS. Still have it but rarely use it. It looks good. Trouble is it sounds sucky when you drive. There's some sort of whooshing sound as you go up the rev range and then shift. This sound is always there, it's just muffled with the factory engine cover and carpet on. It's very noticable with the clear cover on. I've heard there is some sort of insulating ring for the cover but haven't seen it to know if it's real or an Internet myth.

That looks good! The rubber hoses have grooves in them for the hose clamps. but some red or blue silicone would look good.
