Front Bumper fitment question

Will a 2003 Boxster front bumper fit onto a 1997 boxster? I assume the only differences would be the tow hook shape and the intake vents.

All of the 986 bumpers are compatible.
Also the early 996 from 1999-2000 have bumpers that fit 986s.

The spoiler is changed for 2003-4 models.

Does this mean there's no problem with the newer rear bumper next to the older spoiler?
