Mileage - Highway vs. City

I have always wanted to know what kind of Mileage people have been getting on a full tank of gas highway vs. city driving. If you could post your Boxster engine/year (S vs. Base/year) along with actual distance from a full tank of gas for highway vs. City driving that would be great. (km or miles be sure to include).

I drive a mix (more city than highway) and end up around 20 mpg. 1999 2.5 tiptronic. Keep in mind that I don't drive with fuel efficiency in mind. That number involves some spirited driving. About 250 miles a tank with this mileage

2003 S. 25-26 mpg, combination of part highway, part city (that's where I live). Multiply that by the number of gallons the tank holds (I have no idea how many) for the distance I can go on a full tank. I don't know how far on a tank, since I fill it when it's 1/2-3/4 empty.

When I put it away for the winter, the OBD said I was running around 23 MPG, combined city and highway (would say 40% city, 60% highway).

I've got an 02 Base, tiptronic. I do like to give it some gas off the start, but once up to speed, usually use the cruise to help regulate and keep me legal.

I do mostly city and stop and go. i'm lucky to get 18

I'll call my driving 50 city/50 highway. I usually avaerage 22 to 24 but on the last tank I hit 25.3. I just had a major service including plugs and O2 sensor (one just went bad) so maybe that has something to do with it.

I get 22 - 24 mpg consistently when driving 15% city and 85% highway (only drive on local streets just to get to the highway) , and I usually shift around 3500 RPM.

Pure highway driving I usually get around 23-25 MPG, combination highway/city I get around 18-20, and when just riding around town I usually get around 15-16, when I am at the track I get around 11 MPG.

Below you can see my fuelly profile for my '98 base. I've only owned it since February, 70% city 30% highway. I run it up to 6000 RPM regularly.

In the city, around 12. Highway around 20-24. 3.2l Tip.

mine is a stock 99 2.5l with 5 speed manual tranny and 27 miles one way with 1.5 miles city and the rest highway at 60mph, I get 29-30mpg on 91 octane with the trash 10 percent ethanol mix in Colorado at 6400 feet elevation.

9-13 city/ 18-23 freeway

Normally 19-21 with city and suburban highway (45-55 mph speeds with stop lights every mile). Typical freeway/interstate is 26. I did get 28 on the interstate for one tank two years ago. 2011 S manual.

avg around 24 mpg with mixed hwy/suburban driving
20 mpg in the city - don't do much of that
Spirited driving mpg - who cares

27+- mpg pure Hwy
I can see 35 +- mpg hwy if I reset MPG once I'm up to speed
The more they run the better the MPG
I drove 5 hours straight on Hwy @75-85 mph before refilling. I still had 100+ miles showing before empty
Long hwy trips these things can get over 400-450 miles to a tank. Typically when it gets under a 1/4 tank, I usually start looking to refill in the next 20 miles

My 98' (75,000 total miles w/manual transmission) gets 26-28 mpg in a 50/50 mix of urban an highway driving......I shift around 3,000 rpm usually. It's not a "race car" so I don't push it.

Btw.... topping it off is a PITA.... it's a very poorly vented tank.
