Have (Some) Porsche Prices Lost All Sense of Reality?

Can you believe this? And, sad to say, that isn't a wildly insane asking price.

1960 Porsche 356B Roadster with matching numbers, chassis#86902, engine#600275, lots of potential, same owner for many years, excellent early B roadster with a 1959 production date, great foundation for restoration. For $87,500

Garage
They're actually finally evening out. Prices were a steep hill up from December 2013 on. Only now are they steadying. I guess a steadying is better than a readjustment.

As the prices of air-cooled Porsches climb beyond the affordability of the average guy, I'm noticing the 914 models are starting to get more and more love and being recognized as a "real" Porsche and prices are climbing for them too.

Also, on the 928 forums, guys are starting to notice an increased interested in those cars as well. Prices are starting to creep up a bit across the board, the later GT and S4 cars are starting to hit some pretty pricey levels, the early cars are picking up interest, and even the $1,000 project cars are starting to bring more in the $2-3k range.

I'm looking for both another 914 to add to the fleet and to see if I can stash a few more 928 project cars away while I can still find them cheap.

While the air-cooled 911s are climbing higher into the stratosphere and beyond, I'm waiting for the right 997 or Cayman S to drop low enough to sneak its way into my garage...
