Top Lock Microswitch
 

How do you replace this thing? Couldn't find anything in either repair book and online help has got me nowhere.

The top microswitch is located under the cover (#9) in the top center of the windshield. Remove the two black motion alarm covers (use a small screwdriver or just use your fingernail). Inside you'll find two Torx screws (#10) holding the cover on. Remove those and you can get to the top microswitch (#7) and the latch lock switch.

And does anybody know where I put the new microswitch that I ordered a couple months ago?

I'm guessing it is next to the resistor for the fan that I bought about 6 months ago and cannot find.
