top/fuse problem?

My 2001 top will not go down.....worked fine yesterday...I cannot find a fuse diagram in owners manual and there was not a diagram in the fuse panel. Can anyone tell me where the parking/emergency brake fuse is? Also, is it possible to test the relay? thanks for your help...

2nd row(B) from the top I think its #6.
On the back of the fuse panel there should be a little fold out manual that lists all of the positions. One of the pages is in English.
Does the e-brake light come on when you pull on the e-brake?
If not the the parking brake switch might be blown. Have no idea how to replace that wish I did because the dealer charged me $90 and the part was $4.
The only way I can think about testing the relay is to pull it out unlock the top
and open one of your doors. The windows will not come on their own.
Now do the same with the relay plugged back. If the windows don't automatically come down a 1/4 of the way you probably need a new relay.

possibly, I don't have the fuse chart with me but if you pick up one of those fuse checkers from Autozone or Pepboys you can see which fuse doesn't light up.
and replace the fuse with one of the spares on the bottom next to the yellow fuse removal tool.

But I don't think this your problem otherwise none of the gauge cluster indicator lights would be lighting up and not just the e-brake light.

If you've checked all the fuses with the light and pushed in the top relay to determine if its working (windows going 1/4 down automatically) then my guess is that the parking brake switch is blown.

Check out Renntech.org to see if replacing the switch is a do it yourself job. That could have saved me $90. You'll have to go to the Porsche parts desk or order it online.
