Help!! Side Mirror Replacement
I need to know if the second gen Boxster side mirrors can be used in a 2002? Would they mount correctly in the door openings (bolt pattern) and if the electrical connector is the same? My friend found a pair for sale locally and I'm interested in them, however don't wanna risk $400 if they don't work on the 1997-2004 model.

I am going to say no. The red one is from an '01 and the dark blue one from an '05.
What color do you need for your '02? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...pswukjsf4o.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps77ts3ws7.jpg |
When you find the correct year replacement mirrors, you'll also have to compare the number of pins for the electronics. Cars w/ power seats/memory have additional pins to control mirror placement.

Mirror replacement
Thanks for the reply and pictures, that definitely would not fit my 2002 white - previous owner scraped the passenger side and caused deep gouges. My car is the base model no memory for the seat or mirror position.
