I might as well start another thread

I got the triangular brace and side braces today during my ongoing wheel bearing sage. While the triangular brace and the side beams look good in bare aluminum they do appear blotchy as any 15 year old car would. What would you guys do, paint them with black undercoating or wire brush the aluminum ??

All of mine are on the floor. I have to clean all those items too. Thinking about wire wheel. Needs to look good and new. I'm glad I dropped all that to clean grease from previous inner boot failures.

I feel lucky

Underside of mine was pretty dang clean, now to get that hub out and figure out what went wrong the first time and how I messed it up.

Mine were painted black so I wire brushed them with a flexible drill attachment back in December and sealed them with this stuff called Jet Laq Jet Laq 1200 Non Paint Laquer (250ml) RG75

Still look OK despite the UK winter and salty roads. I'm going to try some buffing compound when the weather gets better and re-do the exhaust pipes & cats. You should be OK wire brushing them.
