Headlight wiring need to be replaced

Hi guys,

I've bought a used set of headlights for a HID conversion.
The outer lenses were bad, I've done some polishing and they're much better.

Next step, checking the internals. I noticed that most of the wiring is getting bad (cracked or very brittle). I have no choice but to replace it all.

My question is:
What gauge wire should I use ? would 14 be enough?

Thanks,
Hervé

AWG14 is definitely more than sufficient and I think this is what is already in place. Could be 16 I'm not 100% sure.

Your HID will pull 3.6AMPs (angel eyes 0.1amp) and the H7 halogen fog lamp about 5.5AMPs... and a few crumbs for the indicator
