There's an ebay seller out of Houston that has them really cheap (buy it now)... they look good too. I'll dig up a link for you.

side skirts
Can most "quality paint shops" match your colors on these? My Boxster is dark green, it would be a shame not to have a perfect match.....

you rang?
no 18" shod Boxster is complete with out side skirts!
Although KRATZCO's looks nice without them because of his big black wheels.
(but I think it would look better with skirting).
Silver is tough to match and plastic and metal take on paint differently but my skirts came out perfectly so I figure dark colors (like green) should be no problem.
Not cheap though, the skirting is $700 factory parts and paint labor is at least another $400. But well worth it if you have bigger wheels. Gives it a much lower and and agressive stance. Kind of takes the 'fun little car' look out of it.
here's a comparision (similar wheels) one has gt3 front bumper and side skirts
the other has no skirts and the stock 2003 front bumper.

Randal It Is Cheaper To Replace The Rear Bumper Cover Than It Is To Buy The Stupid Add On Diffusers.....just An Fyi...new Rear Bumper = $575...difuser Add Ons Anywhere From $349 To $649...plus The New Bumper Cover Looks Better As The Diffusers Are Molded On Not Bolted On

Thanks. I will remember that next year when I sneak the car off to the body shop when my other half isn't watching me carefully...
She's now saying things like, "you're officially done with your repairs when you buy an extra muffler to drill into to have it louder, right? I think a good chunk of that 'boxster beautification' money should go toward a new _____________."
Just fill in that blank with whatever you can imagine for our home and you'll get my point. Just don't choose anything that sits in the garage because that's my domain and she's not allowed to decorate it or fill it with anything. Period. A man has to make a stand!

I looked at my side-skirtless Box
last night, and tried to figure out how skirts would attach. Do the skirts just fit over the existing bottom lip of the panel. I didn't see a piece they would simply replace...

We're hoping soon to get some that are painted with genuine Porsche paint, pre-painted, so you can just bolt them on yourself. Having a place paint them gets really expensive, and most of the time they will use 'factory matched' paint instead of the genuine Porsche stuff. Side skirts look fantastic on the 986.

Yeah the side skirts in the picture I posted are OEM polyurethane. They are the same style as on the GT3 MK1
I opted for the Fiberglass GT3 MK2 style on the 2002-2004 GT3 and 996 911.
they are aftermarket from precisionporsche.com a very small shop.
The sideskirts attach using double sided tape and two factory clips.
prepainted factory parts are cool if you can get the skirts themselves at a cheap price. Otherwise you aren't saving money. I think anything under $1000 is good.
$700 seems to be the going rate on Ebay for unpainted OEM polyurethane.
