Battery now charged with big charger but only giving 11.96v so I assume its goosed. Started car OK and was getting 14.29v so alternator seems fine.

Will check battery again in a couple of days. Left car unlocked and bonnet popped just in case. I have another battery that I can put in if fitted one loses charge in a couple of days.

remove neg cable and place a DC ammeter in series. Readout in Amps.
