Looking for Capt. Black
 

Actually, looking for "Cap, Black". In the parts catalog, page with the "Convertible top covering, Inner lining", part number 4 is the centering journal that goes into the windshield frame (there's two, one on either side). Its metal part has a plastic covering, part number 5.

I'm missing this plastic covering, labeled as "Cap, Black" and not available any longer from Pelican Parts or my local dealer.

Does anyone have a spare? Or knows where to get one? Or at least has the part number?

I tried fitting the ones from the hardtop (986.563.625.03), which are orderable separately, but they're different.

The cap made the soft top lock in better and creak a lot less.
