Best LED Fog Lights I Have Found
I have gone through a lot of lights for my fogs; HIDs and LEDs. These are by far the best. They are bright, no heat and are more white with no blue tint.

No, no fog is Los Angeles. Traffic, crime and more..... but no fog.

Yeah, I have to accept responsibility for the post and recommendation on those. One of them went bad so I had replace it. After it failed after such a short period of time I looked for something different. The ones I replaced them with are brighter and whiter.

Just ordered 4 of these  hopefully there is not a new recommendation before I get them
I think I will do my interior lights as well

12 led bulbs came in today, cheap build quality the glue detached as I installed them but they work so I guess it's not a big deal
Here are some pictures
No lights
Just fog lights (led)
Headlights and fogs
Colour temp difference between the two looks strange but worth not melting the lens

That is what happened to mine too. The blue hue was also an issue. On the plus side, they are bright. The new ones have two forward facing LEDs and lack the blue hue. However, their reliability has yet to be established. I have my fog lights hooked up to always come on so they will get a work out. If they go bad I'll post it.

these are the ones I am using and have worked perfectly since I installed them in the beginning of July
I have my fogs set as DRLs so they are always one when the car is running

no, none at all. I feel no heat at all when they are on. The reason I went with LEDs rather than the H7 that is standard is that they are on all the time and didn't want a heat problem
The wattage refers to the current draw and with LEDs, the heat output is far less per watt than with an incandescent, or halogen lamp

oh ok, I guess they don't make a led h7 suitable for low beam use ? I would love to have the headlights matching to the fogs for color temp

there are some LED low beam / high brightness lamps available. There was a thread recently about them. They have fans on the back, so they must be running fairly hot. Apparently the fans are pretty cheap fans and there was a concern on reliability of the fan, sort of like the IMSB LOL
the consensus was :
not ready for prime time
YMMV
I wish they were more proven, I would like to use them as well

I would recommend going back to halogen. Sylvania Silverstars are great halogen lamps which offers a pure white light.
Although in theory LED are much more efficient than incandescent bulbs, they are not designed to be used in our housing. With an incandescent bulb, light is emitting from all sides of the bulb in a 360 degree and perfectly reflect off of the reflector and point the light forward. Believe it or not, a lot of engineering went into this. When you install an LED bulb into a halogen housing, all the optics of the reflector gets thrown out the window. You lose your cutoff line and end up causing glare for everyone. As you can see in the picture above, there is no cut-off line.
If you're using it for looks, then I suppose it is okay. But if usable light is what you're after, use a halogen bulb that is designed for that housing.
Even installing an HID bulb (also outputs in 360 degrees) won't be as good as halogen. The center point and where the light is emitting from on an HID and Halogen bulb is very different. Every millimeter counts.

I have gone through several set of cheap LED fog lights from China. I must have spent $20!!! Anyway, some went out, some flickered and some were too bright/too blue. So, in my quest to get back to more of an OEM look I went with the warm LEDs listed below. So far they are holding up. But, because I have no faith in their quality I order four lights this time. As a result the first two have held up for several months. These do not match the Litronic headlights but do look more like what came with the car. I would have gone back to the original halogen lights but I have done the fog light hack so they are on all of the time. I was concerned with the heat the 55w create and damaging the lens.
