EVAP CEL help

The CEL on my car came on and I had it checked. I can't remember the code #, but it was minor evap. I looked at my gas cap, and the ring had a lot of cracks in it so I ordered a new one from Pelican. I went to my local shop and had them reset it a couple weeks ago, and it came back on about two days later. I checked the cap, and it was tight. I have refilled with gas a nember of times, and still have the code. Went to have it checked in case it was something new, and still get the minor evap code.

Any ideas out there?

You need to get the code number(s), without it anything is a guess.

I'll bet it's the same code I've been getting.

P0456

Very small leak detected, evap system.

I'd love some advise on where to look besides the gas cap which I swapped too.

Get inside the engine bay and look for any hoses loose or cracked. Tighten up all emission fittings that are visible. Something I did and found alot of the fittings were loose.

I've now gotten P0456 on and off and scheduled a smoke test to figure out where the vacuum leak is BUT now I also just got a new one - P0430 - left bank catalyst

Anyone know if they could stem from the same problem?
