anyone going to PCA Sat mtg at Original Mike's
 

Just wondering what other fellow soCal folks from the forum will be going this coming Saturday?

I should be able to make it and think I'll have a friend following me - he was a 987 owner for all of about 3 months - he bought an 06 987 on Christmas eve, drove it for a meager 600 miles and then on a whim, traded it in a few weeks back for an 06 Beetle Conv. Then, he went out and tracked down a beautiful '78 911 SC - which is what he'll drive out there, unless he rides with me. Story gets better, though - he's already got his eye on something elsev (a 912 or 914) and is working on selling the 911 to another friend of mine! Yeah, sounds crazy, eh? He does this - often!

So, if he drives the 911 on Saturday, and my other friend decides to not buy it, you might swoop up a tremendous deal, if you were looking to add something gorgeous to your collection - trust me, my friend hunts down beautiful pre-owned cars (typically older 912's, 914's, 356's, Beetle's, etc) drives them very very gingerly for a few months and then sells them - usually not too concerned about making money - I know, that's crazy, too.

Oh well - at any rate, looking forward to meeting some of the other forum members and checking out everyone else's pride and joy!!!

where are all the west coast Box owners????? No one else going this saturday?

Maybe...saturday is too far away for me right now....I was there 3/4/06 with KRZTACO....
