Spare Tires?

What do you all do about a spare tire in the new models?

Will a spare fit in either trunk? Does Porsche sell a donut that will work?

I ask because blowouts or sidewall damage does happen and no amount of slime will fix that. I would hate to get a blowout in the middle of nowhere without a real spare????

The 987 trunk is the same size as the 986 trunk so you should be able to fit the 986 spare in there. The problem is how to secure it. In the 986 it stands vertical against the back wall of the trunk, but there is a piece welded to the wall for the bolt that holds it in.
