Radio Code Help

Hi Everyone,

Just replaced the battery in my 97 Boxster and discovered that I need to input the radio code. I got the code from a dealer but don't have a radio manual. After I input the code the 1st number flashes. Does anyone know what button to press next? or how to complete the code input process. Don't want to get it wrong too many times! Thanks for your help.

gbarten,
This is straight from the Boxster manual for the CDR 210 radio...

"Once the radio is reinstalled or the battery is reconnected the word "CODE", with a flashing letter "C", and the digits 1-0 appear in the display. Prior to use the correct code must be entered via the multifunction keys.
After the first digit is entered, the word "CODE" disappears, and the number is displayed followed by 3 dashes. As the digits are entered, the next line in the sequence flashes. When all four numbers have been entered, the first digit flashes. At this time you can overwrite the code as often as necessary. To correct any error, you must enter the complete code. Once the correct code is displayed, enter by pushing the signal seek switch."

The diagram in the manual points to the down arrow on the right side
After 3 attempts "WAIT" flashes and you must wait 10 minutes. After nine attempts and three waiting peroids the radio will "WAIT" for 60 minutes. Should you fail at this point you must wait for 60 minutes before making another attempt.
The radio must be on during the waiting period.

Hope this helps.
