New old bumper, check. New old taillight, check.

Just received a bumper cover from Jon in Oklahoma. The shipping cost 3X the price that I paid for the cover! Canada is not California: no P-car dismantlers on every corner! And a bumper is BIG, if not heavy.
Thanks Jon, this will keep me busy for an hour or so :)
Boxter's gotta look sharp for the last week or so before winter storage! :(

I'm glad we got it below the original quote of :barf:$1,400+ to ship.

Lesson learned: Don't try to put big things in a box; just pad them as needed and mummify them in heavy paper and tape.

Glad you can finally enjoy the car again. Happy Boxstering.

Yes, They wanted $600 plus shipping. It's about 800 km from here.

Unfortunately, he is very expensive and not willing to negotiate.

did you try calling any freight companies ? try living on vancouver island, the price from vancouver to vancouver island is usually more than from texas to vancouver :P

I did try UShip but got no offers.

Check out Fastenal.
In the US, they will ship between their stores for an extremely reasonable price. Friends of mine use them for engines, gearboxes, etc and swear by them.
