CTEK MUS 4.3 question

Hello,

I picked up a CTEK MUS 4.3 and a Cig Adapter as well to trickle charge my Boxster.

I set it up yesterday and this morning saw that the Cig Adapter had worked its way out and was no longer charging.

What have others done to prevent this?

Thanks,

John

Sounds like your Boxster has the ROW receptacle which is slightly larger than the US version.

I've been using the CTEK for six years now. And yes, the cigarette adapter does push itself out from time to time -- usually right after you plug it in. Just wiggle the plug and push it back in. It should stay in fine. (That's what she said)

For around $20, you can get a Porsche lighter conversion kit, which is a "plug and play" replacement that will forever put an end to the oversized lighter socket problem.
