Exclamation 165mph/266km/h at the Autobahn

Did it with an almost brand new 991C4S with PDK. It's quite stable at high speed and had it not been equipped with V-rated tires that are rated for 240km/h only I would've buried the needle.

We did get dusted by a M6 with limiter delete going about 290+km/h. I had my foot down and saw him disappeared in the horizon. That thing was so quiet like it was blown by a really strong wind.

As far as the car goes, I was not a fan of the extra fake burble noises enabled by the exhaust button. It's as if a girl already find you funny when you hand her the first drink. :ah:

Rear seats are absolutely useless. Our trunk is much more functional. And I'm going to say no to the PDK - feels so much nicer rolling my own gears.

Nice 911 ... I want one too, I want one too
V-rated tires on a German Porsche...eeeeevil:
:troll:
The only explanation coming to my mind is...
a) rental car
b) winter tires

But I am sure it was fun anyways

Yup it's a rental (you know the saying, the fastest car in the world is a rental!)

Personally I find the wide-body 991 too wide for European roads. Always have to watch its ass all the time.

It's also not a sports car, instead more like a GT car.

Porsche however did fix the high speed stability/front lift problem on all previous 911 with this generation, but I find this car to be very overpriced - keep in mind Porsche is a highly profitable manufacturer per car sold.

M6

No question it is a thing of beauty. My fiance and I saw a brand new M6 Gran Coupe in her tiny TN home town. It was such a menacing looking car....like a high paid hitman....all class and poise. It was being driven by the country singer Jason Aldean....he was on a Deer hunting trip I suppose.

149mph / 240km/h on the Autobahn
Today, in my not-so-new 2.5L
Was driving down the A4 (E40) around Weimar and there was close to no traffic on the 3-lane downhill section. Speed is indicated ground speed. GPS says it was 3km/h slower.
