The PNW (Pacific Northwest) thread.

Not only did I just move to the area recently, but just bought my 986 a few days ago and looking to get in to the "scene". Haven't seen a lot of 986s, just mostly newer Boxsters/Caymans and people in Carreras who turn their nose up at me. Got any following up here?

PM me. I'm in NE Tacoma. Would be happy to meet up. Just left the 987 and 986 world for a 981....but still feel tied to the 986 world.

Dad lived in Sedro Woolley for years, Grandma was from Burlington. Love the Mt Vernon area. Very beautiful.

Please don't use that term. There isn't a "scene", never was a "scene" and never will be a "scene". We aren't 20 somethings.

I see a few around here I'm in Olympia. There's two of us in my office that both have 2000 S's. Hope to see you around. If you haven't lived here before you will see that our weather is all the condusive to riding Ti**es out most of the year.

OP,
I'm in Steilacoom so we're practically neighbors. If you'd like to see a 986 engine tear down just look me up.

Hopefully I'll be back on the road by Christmas. At that point you'll recognize me because my top is down as long as it's not worse than a drizzle.

That's why I used quotes, and I am 20 something. :p

Nice, I rode my bike through there on my way to Aberdeen. Stopped at that little bar/grill towards the edge of town for lunch, cool little town.
