Triptronic gearbox not selecting park
I recently bought myself a 986 porsche boxster 2.5 triptronic and its such a brilliant car to drive until the gearbox decided it would no longer want to select park, what is happening is when park is selected it does not show up on the dash that park is selected and still think it is in reverse, but the car is in park or i would not be able to retreive my keys from the ignition, has anyone any thoughts on what this could be as i was guessing it could have bein a switch or solenoid ? Thanks
