Oh no, the porsche would be the reliable one in that case. As for snow, zilch, and for rain, thankfully the boxster has a hardtop! |

2¢. That said, too many get hung up on your age, rare to see a youngster without a full privilege license on a site like this. Those folks need to remember their attitude and disposition at your age, and roll with it. My son is 23 and I don't fault him for saying Paul McCartney is dead and dude is some imposter. He will come around after some time in Navy boot camp and time on the road. When you pay for your own cars and repairs with earned wages, you'll catch on to some of the opinions tossed your way. That said, folks can use some salt and get over it. |
Wow, my popcorn ran out 3 pages ago.

Man I missed this forum, it still has the most traffic and best reads.
I didn't know VA was criminal above 80mph...dang. I just drove my brand new Cayenne from NC up to Adirondacks of NY and back last week. The speed limit in VA is mostly 70. On the way back I got in line with some other cars for a good 45mins and I kept looking down at the speed and it was let's say criminal at times. I usually never go more then 9 over. It's kept me ticket free since 1976. I decide it was enough and set the cruise on 74 (which is probably 72 in a Porsche) and let them go on their way. The shame of feeling criminal was too much :). Of course that is a heavy truck thruway and now I was being passed by trucks. The problem with the SUVs is you HAVE to check your speed since it is really not apparent how fast one is going. |
