Maf test

Will it hurt to leave MAF sensor unplugged for a couple of days ?

You can leave it unplugged for about 30 minutes of drive time to see if issues go away, but longer than that and the engine will start hating you. That sensor is an essential piece as it determines the fuel trims. You dont want to go without it. If thats the case then park it until you get a new one.

i had customers drive around for months with it unplugged. it won't hurt anything.

all that happens when the DME sees the MAF unplugged is it goes into a default fuel map.
if the car runs better, your MAF is faulty.

you may notice is it's down on power a bit.
