Pdwight Registered User Join Date: May 2013 Location: North Alabama Posts: 2,079	FJ Cruiser Funny, I have never driven one of these. I have a 1978 FJ-40 that I bought new. It is in a severe state of restoration right now with that big ole 2F out for a rebuild. I can tell you that a FJ-40 above 65 sounds like it is coming apart with it's 4:11 gearing....and in Lo 4W lock you would be hard pressed to get it above 30mph....but it will climb a hill that you cannot ascend walking upright
