Dash Repaint?
 

I am looking at buying another Boxster and have my eye on Silver one with the Metropol Blue interior.
I am not a big fan of the Blue and may consider changing the blue bits to black. I have re-colored (painted with SEM) seats, trim and carpet before with very good results. I have not re-colored a dash before. I do not want to remove the dash.
Has anyone painted their dash or even covered it with Alcantara?

I would think leather dye kits from world leather tech or something similar would work fine.
