poor man's air vent modification

Here is a quick little modification I did to both the front and side air vents using door edge molding. I think it adds some nice character to the car - even though I'm sure I'll eventually purchase the Cayman side vents...

Very racey indeed. Here's the real question: Do they make it go faster?

In fact, when I drive wearing my 3 stripe Adidas tennis shoes the car is at least a second quicker 0-62!

Looks better than I thought it would (I must admit, I braced myself before opening the attachments).

That being said, I'm not planning on racing over to Home Depot after work. Kudos on your creativity.

Thanks - I wasn't sure at first how the side air vents would turn out - did the front ones first and was very happy. Actually toyed around with different ways to achieve the final effect on the side air vents (started off with red pin stripes - but didn't like it + working with pinstripes sucks!!!). So, I headed back to Pep Boys for the red door molding.

Cayman side vents are definitely in the future, though!

Next major mod is yellow caliper paint with carbon fiber Porsche decals.
