2002 986 - replacing auto-dim with non-autodim mirror..
 

Good evening folks,

I was wondering is it possible to replace a damaged autodim mirror with a non-autodim mirror? The receiving ball cup in the original mirror is damaged. Both mirrors are from a 2002 base model. I don't plan on going with an auto-dim mirror any time soon. If using an adapter is an option any leads or links would be greatly appreciated!
