Some guy hit my 986!

Driving my date home a couple hours ago and was involved in an accident. Light turned green and pulled out and this guy runs the red and take my front bumper off. We are ok, more startled than anything else. The guy"s toyota was not drivable, with his passenger rear wheel tweaked. He apologized and admitted fault. Called his issurance, but I have to wait until he makes a claim later today. My insurance is calling me back later today as well. I drove home, but it looks ugly. What a bummer!

Sorry to hear that. I hope you do better with insurance companies than I am doing. It's been nearly two months since I was hit and nothing. I've hired an attorney.

Glad your not hurt. Sounds like your car is fixable. Good luck with the insurance. Always a pita.

Glad that you and your date are ok! That is all that really matters.

Good luck with dealing with the insurance. It would be nice to hear a positive story for once so keep us posted on how it goes.

You and I both know the hood and bumper were wanting a re-spray and new headlights.......

Mine never looked soo good as when I was backed into. Needs to happen every 1.5 years.

Hahaha! Well that's a positive way of looking at the situation.

Thanks for the responses guys. With luck, the insurance will cooperate accordingly. I hope to report back with a positive outcome. Yes, the most important thing is that my date and I are both ok.
