People spend a lot of money trying to make their 986s (now officialky "classic", per Porsche) look more "modern" with headlights and taillights and LED DRLs and such.

Instead of trying to fit today's styling fads in a 20-year-old design, I think all you need is a classy set of wheels and a Boxster looks gorgeous. And you just proved my point.

That's what's interesting about 986's. You can really go in either direction. The design is pretty timeless. Everyone that I talk to is shocked to learn that my car is an 02.
