'chromed' Ferrari
I thought about doing this to my 987s, but was told the stuff was too fussy & wouldn't make a good job.

I have to admit, I think that looks really cool!

They old blow torch technique on the Ferrari!

It's not my bag, baby!

I just polish my Arctic Silver until it is like a mirror. :p
I did recently see a Bentley with a Gold metallic wrap http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1408728313.jpg |

Not exactly my bag but I appreciate someone else doing something that is different. I get easily bored with the same old thing.

While I was searching for a Boxster, I came across a Boxster which had been chrome wrapped. Looked cool, but I wouldn't want it.

If you do not like the chrome look
they have been starting to wrap vehicles in a velvet/suede film in Europe. I have seen a ferrari (think it was a 599), 911, and a mini wrapped that way. I would have to think it would be really difficult to clean when a bird poops on your car. Thankfully it has not really taken off in the states yet but I have seen it available in catalogs at work.

2000 Chrome Porsche Boxster I live in the area and looked at the car today (not as a buyer). It is certainly an attention getter. It's a 10 footer but might be worth it to someone looking for something to draw attention to their business. Nice guy selling the car! Very realistic about what he's got. |
I like chrome as color for cars. It just helps when that car is a Ferrari.

Hmmm... It doesn't look so hard. I got some Reynold's wrap and some scotch tape. I'll have to post some pics after I get it done.
