As I have a Boxster the first vehicle I would want would be a new suv. Something that works year round. Then I would need a 3 car garage. My needs are simple.....G.
PS The first time I read your title I thought scam....!

For sure a shiny new Boxster for those great summer days along with a really nice Merc for those not so sunny days and then a big SUV for our Canadian winters. And about 6 garages so have lots of room to add along the way!

918 and some Patron....perhaps an Aventador for me an the missus to drive to get groceries.
Seriously off cars if I won one of the big Powerball jackpots......I would build a Gym and teach Martial Arts to underprivileged kids under the stipulation that they get straight A's in school and set up college funds for many.

Honestly car would be the last thing on my shopping list.
There's a $350 million super yacht anchored right outside the window I'm looking out from now. It's the 9th largest private yacht in the world. Owned by the Russian billionaire who owns Stoli vodka. It's called the Serene. He's less than a mile from Statue of Liberty for a day now. Floyd Mayweather was onboard for a party and posted pictures on his Instragram. Man that must be some babe magnet.
No, on second thought owning anything that expensive is not my style either.
Okay I'll just settle on a 458 Speciale as a daily driver. And McLaren P1 as my showing off car. Figure at least one will be running if I have two.
Full service warranty on both please.
P.S.
I would build my own American made Boxster type sports car. I'd hire some Lamborghini designers to do the exterior and hire some of the guys at Hennessey to whip up something for the engine.
Then I would hire a bunch of guys from Ohlins and former F1 and LeMans racers to help develop the car's suspension/handling. The interiors would be basic, no-nosense to cut down expense.
They would all be sold with Martini or Gulf liveries. They would be made with quality and not profit in mind. (you did say I had limitless funds right?)
Aftera short while I would start a racing series where only up an coming drivers with no outside sponsorship deals.

I think I have seen that dingy ;-)
I was at Atlantis the day it opened way back, our company installed the Photo Processing equipment and I had to be there to make sure it ran. The Yachts outside were enormous...several had helicopters sitting on their own deck. Bill Gates was there and a couple of Arabs....not sure who as we were kept sequestered from all this elite money.....Someone told me that day the 12 largest privately owned Yachts in the world were there.

In 14 years and 220k, I've done 5-6 clutches, some seals on front wheels and axel, brakes several times, and basic engine / exhaust sensors, leaf springs, and one valve spring. It's been a great truck. This WP is only $60 for lifetime, but will take half that lifetime warranty to swap it.

My Ranger only has 140K on it but in the last 14 years I've had it (passed on to me from my dad) I've put on 1 fan belt, front brake pads, new tires, fuel pump. Extremely cheap to maintain and keep running. And reliable as can be. Love it ! One drawback is the 4 cylinder lack of power. Going up hill with the AC on is like a 85 yr old woman with a walker.

Pay for a 986 custom job with a 3 seat layout like the Mclaren F1. Then fill a garage end to end with one of every 2 seat drop top porsche ever made. 914s, boxster, carrera gts, 918, 718, 550, all the goodies.

Ferrari fxx and a gt3 RS made for the track, sounds like it should be on the track, but street legal. A big ass garage to sit back and stare and listen.
