MotoGP is a level of insanity that I can't even comprehend. So amazing to watch.

Me too! Even more fun than watching Marquez win everything. What's Rossi, 35 now?

Here's a picture of "The Doctor" (Valentino Rossi, 9-times world champion) in his office, for those of you not familiar with MotoGP. To give you an idea of what they're riding, the bikes weigh around 330 lbs and have around 240 hp, with a top speed close to 220 mph !

The kid is amazing. Between him, Rossi, Stoner & Bayliss we have seen some of the most incredible riders ever. Moto GP & WSBK racing is the most exciting racing to watch, except of course for the Isle of Man TT races - they are in a whole other category.

ah morning coffee and supersports, I even live it up on 986forum. blisssss
Little Marc is the final product delivery of Emilio (Alzamora). Those who were involved in road racing back in the days should remember Emilio's riding style and tactics. Now to see M&M riding the exact same is a harsh call on reality - I'm getting old lol
I've seen a lot. He is a young talent.... the kind of guy who can sense other rider's drag momentums. That became obvious when he was racing his world championship at Moto2 in '12. A bit of a Rossi breed but not yet as experienced
he was also (in all) a very traumatic event when teams and mgr first heard of his signing with repsol lol
we'll see how it goes. good show good show (so far)

Marc was the 125cc world champion in 2010 at 17, he was the Moto 2 world champion in 2012 at 19 and then stormed the MotoGP world by winning his first championship in 2013. Looks like he will have the 2014 championship under his belt if he continues at the pace.
Legend in the making! He will be written about in history books.

Must add - 2011 was the only year he didn't win, but he was the runner up champion that year. What a streak.

Yeah, and they say that his little brother, who's in Moto 3, is even better than Marc is!

Yeah, is a perfect complete season possible? How did you like all those passes during the early laps !? Glad to see Jorge finally doing better.

The kid is incredible. Reminds me of Freddie Spencer in the early 80's.
When I rode, knee pads were de rigueur, but this kid needs elbow pads.
Also, he kinda looks like a young Jacky Ickx, don't you think?
Just sayin'............

I think that unless he crashes out or has a mechanical failure, Marquez might be unbeatable this year. He seems to be almost be toying with them, hanging back a few laps to make it interesting. Ducati has made some big gains over the last few races but still have a way to go to be competitive for the whole race. Not sure if the other big teams can do enough development to give their riders enough power/handling stability to overcome the Honda bike combined with Marquez' talent.

[QUOTE=Joe B;409196]As long as we can start threads on our boats, watches and soccer, I thought I'd start one on Marc Marquez. Can you believe it? If he wins the German MotoGP at Sachsenring this weekend, that'll be 9 wins in a row in 2014 !
