Houndstooth?

I need to have my seats recovered. Had the idea of an old school 911 touch, and do the center sections in black and white houndstooth-thoughts?http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1407264149.jpg

PEPITA or houndstooth, can look fantastic, depending on your interior/exterior color combination.

IMO a classic black/white PEPITA is limited to black/white/gray exterior colors designwise. A brown/white PEPITA could work for brown/orange/and even blue.

A wonderfull pattern (chocolate stains blend in really nice, i remember :D), but difficult to combine.

PEPITA is definitely is an option (next to "orangy" leather inserts from the cayman, which would fit my gray exterior color), i am concidering for my seats, too.

Looks nice but PITA to keep clean.

I recently sold my 79 Mustang Pace Car and it had black and white cloth int. Below are the before and after pics but the after pic doesn't show how thin the threads had become. The problem is when you try to clean them, the black bleeds into the white. Had it professionally cleaned before I sold it.

It may have some legacy touch to it, but it was ugly then and it is ugly now. Don't make the same mistake that Porsche did back then.

I had the same thought. Maybe I'll save it for when I actually buy an early 911.
