Oh C'mon! I would argue that for that much power, it handles better than some of these older Porsches now selling for princely sums (with not much power).

Unfortunately, the Corvette, like many big power cars, attracts drivers with more courage than skill (I'm being polite there). The same kind of drivers that have totaled more than a few Carrera GT, Viper, etc.

I have a friend like that, he bought a Viper when it first came out. He said the dealer provided no instruction whatsoever. They just waited for him until late in the evening to pick up the Viper and then just slid the key across the the desk. He was used to hot-dogging on the highway in his little BMW convertible. He wouldn't admit to it but the Viper must have scared him straight because I never saw the car leave the garage after the first few 'outings'.

You know.... I actually do not see much being wrong with driving a car desirable by women, I mean any guy in his right mind, if he has to look to impress anyone, we would assume it's a girl. Alot of guys get big gaudy trucks and lift them to impress each other, but alot of the girls I know see them as death traps. I really don't mind that alot of the girls I talk to drool over my car, while guys say meh or "it's a girls car."

I don't think chicks prefer Corvettes because there is not enough room for the shopping and beauty support equipment.

Woman are gatherers/collectors so they need lots of storage.

Thats why the Boxster is an ideal car for chicks, its got 2 trunks so lots of storage.

Most don't know about the extra space in front so thats why more girls don't own Boxsters, fortunately for the guys.

Thats also why the Boxster is ideal for guys, lots of storage for a girls stuff, a surprise under the Frunk, (Girls like those kind of surprises) plus with the top down it shows off the guy and is likely to get him a nice tan.

Natural Selection:
Good looking guy with tan = good genes/attraction
Guy driving with a big smile, even in traffic jam = happy & balanced person, rare catch
Nice looking real sports car = Affluent and Successful
Empty passenger seat = Available
2 Trunks = Room for more shopping/gathering

I have seen a few girls in the late model mr2... as a daily... i just hrmm i really want to keep a camera on them and see how daily life is for a girl with a late model mr2... because its "cute" haha.

reason #174 why the Boxster, Corvette and Miata are NOT chick cars, they're cars for old rich guys.

Businessweek noted that convertible sales have fallen 44% since 2004, and automakers have been significantly scaling back the number of models that are even offered in convertible form. Data recently released from Experian Automotive indicates that the convertible is largely now a toy purchased by the rich. Nearly 1 in 5 convertible buyers have household incomes of at least $175,000 (compared to 11% of buyers of all cars), and 12% of convertible buyers own homes valued over $1 million (compared to 4% of buyers of other cars). For what it’s worth, convertible drivers are also better educated than the average car owner (50% of convertible buyers have at least a bachelor’s degree, versus 38% overall), and nearly one-quarter of all convertibles are now purchased in three sunny states with ample coastlines: California, Florida, and Texas. -TIME Magazine

Holy Crap, decades back I actually owned a 1986 Corvette in that exact same color, Silver Beige. Even had the gold BBS wheels lol, 5.7 choked liters of 225 hp goodness.

BTW.....if you need a car to catch the eye of the opposite sex, well, 'nuff said.

Instinct". I have a older Audi 8-L for the winter months.
To haul stuff around. Potting soil,dog, etc etc. I have a old old
Jeep CJ-7. Fiberglass body.

I must say I now consider myself a Porsche chick even thought
It belongs to Bill but he shares.

Must say I get the most comments and looks when I drive it.
Except when trying to get out of the Lotus in a dress and I
Slip off the sill ending up sitting on the ground.

So yeah I would rather have the tt but I take pride that she would rather go for a ride in my boxster :D girls like convertibles and I don't mind.

Agreed, I've known more women with Corvettes than any 911 or Boxster

but I will agree women love porsches, it has helped get me laid more than any car I've owned :D :D :dance:
