Wtb-hardtop
 

I'm looking for advice on the best places to look for a hardtop for my boxster. I have a budget of 1000.00 and want either an arctic silver or black one. I'm willing to drive 2-300 miles to pickup-seems nobody wants to ship and I guess I understand that. I'm in Southern California- ebay and Craig's list usually don't have much.

Here is one in your driving range. Not your price range. Might be worth an offer.

Put an ad on your local Porsche Club of America's website. I was searching for one and quite frequently saw them located in other parts of the country for $1,000 or less (even on Ebay) but never seemed to see one close enough. I put up an ad on the DFW (Maverick) region of PCA's website and got one that ended up being circa 45 minutes away for $1,000. Wasn't a color match, but I'm getting my whole car plastidipped anyway so it doesn't matter.
